Calaveras County - Community Recovery
Recovery Resources
Alongside this community effort, several organizations and government agencies are actively offering support to people affected by the Gann Fire. Here's where to go for immediate and ongoing help.
Fire damage clean up procedures
The county announced that the Calaveras Office of Emergency Services (OES) will clean up the burned areas. This likely will include debris and also the dirt containing hazardous materials. No ETA has been given yet on when the clean up will occur. For official updates, follow the Calaveras County Sheriffs department on Facebook
Temporary Housing Permit
The building department is issuing temporary housing permits to place a manufactured home on your property. Neighbors can get the permit and forms from the Calaveras County Building Department on Mountain Ranch Road in San Andreas.
